The Ahmad Law Firm is led by its founder, Attorney Jacopo A. Ahmad.

Born and raised in Puglia, he developed a profound interest in legal issues during his high school, which led him to move then to Rome to attend the Faculty of Law.

In the capital, he earned his master’s degree with excellent grades, writing a thesis in English under the supervision of the Faculty Dean, which was written in the UNITED STATES after passing a selective exam in “American Criminal Law” and winning a several-month scholarship at Nova Southeastern University (Miami).

Upon returning to Puglia, he immediately began his legal career, initially undertaking a rigorous legal internship at a firm specializing in civil law and later, to achieve comprehensive legal training, joining a prestigious firm in Brindisi specializing in criminal law, where he continues to collaborate with the principal.

When he was still just a trainee lawyer, he passed the examination for admission to practice before the Judicial Authority and subsequently, with excellent grades, the oral examination of the State Bar Exam.

He immediately became a member of the “Associazione Italiana Giovani Avvocati” (Italian Association of Young Lawyers), Brindisi section, where he was later appointed as a board member.

Then, he became a member of the “Dipartimento Nazionale di Procedura Civile” (National Civil Procedure Department) established within the AIGA “Tommaso Bucciarelli” Foundation.

He successfully completed a two-year advanced course in criminal law and criminal procedure organized by the local Criminal Bar Association and Bar Council for the training of lawyers qualified to become Public Defender, passing the final exam and being listed in the national roster of Court-Appointed Defense Lawyers.

 

He completed an advanced course in Criminal Procedure Law and a high-level training course in Criminal Execution Law, also taking part in numerous seminars and training sessions in criminal and civil law.

He is a member of the “International Association of Penal Law”, the oldest scientific association of legal professionals working in criminal law.

He is a member of “LaP.E.C.”, Brindisi section, an association established in Sicily in 2008 at the International Higher Institute of Criminal Sciences, dedicated to the study and in-depth analysis of criminal procedure.

He is also a member of the “European Criminal Bar Association”, a historic association of criminal defense lawyers operating in the EU member states, and the “European Fraud and Compliance Lawyers”.

He is registered with the “Camera Penale di Brindisi” (Brindisi Criminal Bar Association).

To date, Attorney Jacopo A. Ahmad has participated in hundreds of hearings, including as a substitute or collaborator of other lawyers.

In line with the normative and deontological principles governing the legal profession, he diligently pursues professional development and continuing education through regular participation in conferences and training courses.
